Dolfje Weerwolfje (6+)
Dolfje doesn’t know what’s happening to him when he turns into a white, fluffy creature on the night of his seventh birthday: a little wolf. In the light of the full moon, he jumps out of his bedroom window, heading for freedom.
He runs through the park and the neighbours’ garden, happily chasing ducks and chickens. When dawn breaks, he returns home utterly exhausted, only to wake a few hours later as a boy again. His foster brother Timmie thinks it’s brilliant and nicknames him ‘Dolfje Weerwolfje’.
Sensitive Dolfje, however, doesn’t want to be a little werewolf at all. He’s afraid his foster parents won’t love him anymore if they discover who he really is. Dolfje is determined to keep his secret at all costs. But will he manage it? After all, there’s a full moon every month.
