New animation movie based on the Fabeltjeskrant, a classic Dutch children’s television series from the 1970’s, featuring puppetry and stop motion.
The Fabeltjeskrant celebrates its 50th anniversary with, among other things, a brand new feature film, a book and an exhibition in Rotterdam. The film will be a nostalgia trip for parents and grandparents, and a joyous first introduction to the Fabeltjeskrant for young children.
In the new film, the picnic of Miss Stork is at risk of becoming a flop because the invited animals get lost on their way to the party. A special new guest arrives in Fabeltjesland: Peter Panda from China. Miss Stork is rather wary of such a foreign animal from a distant country. But the newcomer comes in handy as a referee at the annual animal games. In the exciting competition, Team Black and Team White compete against each other. Which team will win?
