A STAR IS BORN is the directorial debut of actor Bradley Cooper, although it’s not the first ‘birth’ of the story. The first version of the film came out in 1932, and then it was remade in 1937, 1954 and in 1976, with at the time Barbra Streisand in the leading role. For this fifth adaptation, Lady Gaga wrote her own music. The hit single 'Shallow' received the Oscar for Best Original Song.
