Strawberry Mansion

Colourful surrealistic romantic comedy in which a dream auditor gets entangled in the dreams of an eccentric old lady who has been avoiding paying taxes all her life.

Time & Tickets

It's the year 2035. Advertisers have finally managed to invade people's dreams, forcing the government to tax the extra nice and luxurious dreams. When government dream auditor James Preble is sent to a remote, strawberry-painted mansion, he’s met by Arabella Isadora, an eccentric older lady with a massive VHS archive of her lifetime of dreams ready for him to sift through. While exploring her subconscious, James falls head over heels in love with the younger version of Arabella.

STRAWBERRY MANSION is set in the future, although that’s not really notable when watching the film. The combination of elements from different decades and the special cinematography in which the film has been converted from digital to 16 mm film, contribute to its vintage look and feel. STRAWBERRY MANSION premiered at the Sundance Film Festival early this year.
