Movies that Matter On Tour is a spin-off of the annual Movies that Matter Festival. Each month a controversial film or documentary is shown in combination with introductions or Q&A's with inspiring guests. Next up is Risk, a revealing portrait of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
Director Laura Poitras (CITIZENFOUR) followed Assange over the course of six years. What started out as a document of a visionary, historical figure, turned out to be a character study of a narcissistic man who likes to reveal the secrets of others but fiercely lashes out when he himself is examined.
