Heart-warming comedy about two men with vastly different life stories who embark on a road trip through France in a hearse and realize that they're not so different in the end.
One is a workaholic, the other a philosopher in a body with limitations. Louis, fully dedicated to his job as director of a funeral parlour, does not seem to have much in common with Igor, a delivery man of organic vegetables with a penchant for philosophy books. In an accident, Igor hides in Louis’s hearse. Just like that, without a plan. Having recovered from the worst scare, Louis decides to take him along on his trip to bring an old woman’s body to the Cevennes. During the unplanned car trip, the two discover that they have more in common than they thought.
PRESQUE was written and directed by lead actors Bernard Campan and Alexandre Jollien. Comic moments and insights from Nietzsche, Plato, De Montaigne and Spinoza flow seamlessly together in this pure feel-good film à la HORS NORMES and INTOUCHABLES.
