INXS Live Baby Live at Wembley Stadium
Beautifully restored version of INXS’ classic concert movie, showing the Australian band at the peak of their live powers.
On Saturday 13th July 1991 INXS delivered the gig of their lives at London’s Wembley Stadium to 74,000 ecstatic fans. The set included hits like SUICIDE BLONDE, NEVER TEAR US APART and ORIGINAL SIN. Filming the concert required David Mallet, who had directed the likes of Pink Floyd and David Bowie, to use seventeen cameras and a helicopter. Music producer Giles Martin – who was responsible for the audio mix of the film – said to Variety that ‘working on the film took me back to a time where an audience completely connected with a band without holding up any phones, and the energy in the stadium is mind blowing’.
