Incerta Glòria

Cult director Agustí Villaronga applies his unique vision to Joan Sales’ 1956 novel of the same name – considered one of the best Catalan novels of all time, and the first to portray the Spanish Civil War from the republican side. On Saturday, INCERTA GLÒRIA's production manager, Aleix Castellón, will introduce the film. Afterwards, you'll receive a glass of cava.

The Aragon Front, 1937. Lluís, a young Republican officer sent to a temporarily inactive post, meets and falls madly in love with Carlana, an enigmatic widow. The woman convinces him to forge a document giving her the title of Lady of the region. Carlana tricks him and tramples on Lluis’ self-esteem, dragging him into a downward spiral of passion, betrayal and humiliation that will have devastating consequences for everyone involved.
