Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me

Prequel to the brilliant TV series Twin Peaks. The film was mercilessly booed at Cannes in 1992, but has more recently rediscovered by some film critics as a misunderstood masterpiece.

Time & Tickets

The TV series TWIN PEAKS opens with the discovery of the body of murdered schoolgirl Laura Palmer. T his feature film – released after the TV show had ended – follows Palmer in the seven days prior to her death. In Twin Peaks, two FBI agents are investigating the murder of Teresa Banks. During the investigation, one of the agents disappears without a trace.
After the surreal soap opera of the TV series, Lynch chose a more radical approach for this feature film. Rape, drugs, perverted sex, violence: Lynch shows us once more that behind the innocent façade of American small towns lies a rotten world of moral decay and dark intrigues.

David Lynch, USA, France, 1992, 135 min. English spoken, without subtitles. With Sheryl Lee, Ray Wise, Mädchen Amick, Dana Ashbrook, Chris Isaak.
