When an Irish landowner named McBain is slain in cold-blood by the malfeasant Frank, his widow discovers that his property was a key piece of real estate lying in the path of the great railroads’ trajectory. Frank had been hired by a rail tycoon who had his own plans for the area, but having framed the infamous bandit Cheyenne in the process, forged an unlikely alliance between the widow, Cheyenne and a mysterious harmonica-playing drifter.

Often referred to as one of the greatest films of all time, Leone reaches perfection with his most lavishly produced spaghetti-western. Ennio Morricone’s monumental score evokes the vastness of the wild west and the boundless possibilities of the new frontier.
