In his new feature film, acclaimed Dutch director Alex van Warmerdam once again combines elements from the thriller genre with black humour. Günter, who was found in the German forests as a four-year-old, grows up in a foster family. Four decades later, life is back to normal: he earns a living as a stage actor, spends time with his daughter Lizzy and has an affair with a married woman. He never questioned his past. Until he is approached on a bridge by a strange man who only whispers one word in his ear.
