Twelve-year-old Laura was born into a circus family and has spent almost all her life travelling with her father Bill, who performs as a clown. Laura longs for a less hectic life, however, and that dream seems to come true when she gets the chance to be accepted into a private school. But will her father be able to accept that his daughter will not follow in his footsteps? This exciting story shows a dilemma that many children will recognise: to what extent do I live up to my parents’ expectations?
MY LIFE IS A CIRCUS is a Canadian feel-good film, with a good dose of humour and poignancy.
