Dany Boon’s return to the WELCOME TO THE STICKS universe is a comedy about a celebrated designer architect who claims to be an orphan because he is too ashamed to admit he is the son of scrap metal merchants from the north of France.

Valentin D. and Constance Brandt, the ‘It-Couple’ of designer architects, are preparing for the retrospective exposition of their work at the Museum of Modern Art. But what no one knows is that Valentin has lied his way into the world of Parisian luxury design. He’s actually from a northern ‘Ch’ti’ family of modest means. So when his mother, his brother and his sister-in-law show up unannounced to the gala opening, his two worlds are about to collide with a resounding bang.
