For HOWL’S MOVING CASTLE, Miyazaki adapted the children’s book of the same name by British fantasy writer Diana Wynne Jones. Sophie, a young milliner, falls under the spell of a handsome young man. Little does she know that it is the famous wizard Howl, whom the Witch of the Waste also has a crush on. When the jealous witch has turned Sophie into an old woman, Sophie must search for a wizard who can rid her of the curse. She moves into the mountains and goes to work as a housekeeper in Howl’s moving castle. There she is drawn into a fierce battle against evil forces. And that is just the beginning. Colourful top entertainment for all ages.
