Animation film for our young viewers in which ten animals born on a riverbank learn about the rules of life and get to know each other.
In a landscape dominated by lakes, rivers and forests, ten animals are born, grow up, chase each other and watch over one another. Under the water, the tiny pike wants to become a ‘colossal’ fish while the young dragonfly would like to learn how to fight. The salamander dreams of crawling out of the water to discover the skies above. On the riverbank, a beaver just can’t resist the scent of trees, while the great bittern wants nothing more than to catch the moon. Up in the trees, an owl flies away and meets a bat which loves music. The turtle on the other hand is entertained by this world where everything is in a rush. This familiar environment evolves with the passing of the seasons, changes from day to night. And each animal offers a different amusing and poetic vision of the riverbend they call home.
