School gardens are fun, and all about experiencing and discovering. The viewer follows the life cycle of the garden: the soil, sowing, growing, harvesting, preparing and eating. The success, the enthusiasm of the children, but also the disappointment when something fails or a rabbit runs off with the carrots. Not only for humans but also for animals, the school garden is an attractive place in the city. From the aphids, bees, butterflies, frogs, great tits and grass snakes to the fox that sets off when the gate closes at night.
