DAZED AND CONFUSED (1993) remains relatively unknown in the Netherlands, while the film is considered to be one of the best teenage films of all times in the US. The film follows a group of teenagers as their senior year in high school has just ended. Bongs blaze and bell-bottoms ring. They pass their time with typical teenage entertainment: hanging out, taking drugs and philosophising a bit. A film that is not so much about ‘the best years of our lives’ as it is about teenage angst and boredom.
