Slim Next Generation | Lumière Jazz Nights
The Limburg Improvised Music Foundation (SLIM) presents 'The Next Generation'. The concept: a recurring event where a group of young up-and-coming jazz talents from the region come together for a day to rehearse and to give a concert in the evening. The musical direction is with a different member each session. This time with Peter Willems.
Peter Willems (born in Maastricht) sings and plays double bass. He won the 2nd prize of the 'Princess Christina Jazz Concours', and is an active part of the Limburg jazz scene. He recently released the duo album “DOUBLE DARE” with the world famous guitarist Gary Lucas, and he is also the curator of the Lumiere Jazz Nights.
