January 2020 Dutch trio Kika Sprangers (saxophone), Martin Fondse (piano & keyboards vibrandoneon) and Jörg Brinkmann (cello, electronics) finished recording fourteen instrumental pieces at Splendor Amsterdam, with producer/engineer Chris Weeda (most known for his work with Toots Thielemans). “Lumen” is their blueprint for searching new paths in modern music, an album rich of themes.
