It all began in October 1976. With a desire for different films, different stories, and a place where cinema could be more than just entertainment. What was then called Stichting Filmhuis Maastricht has, over 50 years, grown into Lumière: Maastricht’s arthouse cinema. This year, we celebrate that milestone.
