Best Of Kaboom Animation Festival 2025 On Tour - English subtitled
Compilation programme featuring short animated films that were awarded at the most recent edition of the Kaboom Animation Festival. Afterwards, there will be a Q&A with director Marten Visser, the creator of Skroll.

Life is becoming increasingly overwhelming for mother and caregiver Mary, and then she is also confronted with all kinds of bureaucratic red tape from the healthcare system.

A poetic winter story about nature in the far north.

Creative Geofff has often wondered if there is something wrong with him. In a group therapy session, he finally discovers what is going on.
Skroll – Marten Visser (Netherlands, 2024, 6’)
This bizarre short animated film consists of a compilation of videos posted by people and dwarves on social media platforms. Director Marten Visser will also be present.

A short story from Berlin. Seemingly a free-spirited city, but when you enter into an intimate relationship as a woman, reality turns out to be different.

Scars We Love – Raphaël Jouzeau (France, 2024, 15’)
A moving animated film about a boy who meets his ex a month after their break-up. She broke up with him, but he is still in love with her. It turns out to be an awkward encounter.
Hoofs On Skates – Ignas Meilunas (Lithuania, 2024, 12’)
Two friends are skating on a frozen lake when suddenly a mysterious world opens up beneath them. The creatures of the lake need their help.
