The crickets play on a violin, the dung beetles on a tuba, and the bees on a cello. Even the ladybugs participate in the concert, and the voracious aphids don't even realize that their little saw-like mouthparts are actually fantastic musical instruments.

About Cinemini
Children from 2 to 6 years experience their first cinema visit during Cinemini! On Sunday morning, toddlers and preschoolers will discover the magic of film in this special program in which they experience film and can play in a beautiful light landscape.

Sam and Julia live in The Mouse Mansion. With her curious nature, Julia drags her friend Sam along on adventures, especially when she's bored. Sam does things with Julia that he would never dare to do alone!

Vos and Haas were created by writer Sylvia Vanden Heede, in collaboration with the renowned Dutch illustrator Thé Tjong-Khing. Experience the adventures of Vos and Haas and all their friends from the forest.

In the movie HET MUIZENHUIS - SAM EN JULIA IN DE BIOSCOOP, one location is particularly important: the Mouse Mansion! Get inspired by the set from the movie and craft your own mouse living room in this workshop. How does yours look? Does it have a nice big sofa, or perhaps a huge bookshelf? We'll work with various materials, and Lumière's crafting experts will teach you how to decorate your mouse living room to make it stand out.

p.s. Want to truly get involved and see your set featured in a real film? On Fridays, we have the Stop Motion workshop, where we'll shoot a short stop-motion animated film using several sets. Please note: a separate ticket is required for this workshop.

Many animatedfilms are made using the stop-motion technique. By rapidly playing many still images, each slightly different from the previous one, it creates the illusion of movement. And that's exactly what we'll be doing in this workshop!

Craft your own film characters and sets, and create and film your own story in our stop-motion machine, under the guidance of our workshop facilitator(s)!

Did you also participate in the Workshop: Help building our Mouse Mansion on Wednesday or Thursday? Then you can use the sets you crafted there for your stop-motion film! Please note: a separate ticket is required for this workshop.

Test! Together with the inventor of Lumière's very own visual language machine, you get to experiment in his laboratory to see how visual language actually works. Our visual language professor is very curious about your findings so he can improve his machine even further! Join the visual language experiments and learn how to become a wizard with images!

Julia is a curious and adventurous mouse. Sam, on the other hand, is a shy and obedient mouse. HET MUIZENHUIS is a compilation of eight episodes of this animated series for the very youngest Lumière visitors. Six episodes have never been shown before. The mice Sam and Julia have exciting adventures within the world of the Mouse House. They unravel island secrets and learn magical magic tricks. They even see how a rainbow is created, go stargazing and learn fun dance moves. During these amazing adventures, Sam and Julia learn valuable lessons about friendship and tolerance.

In a large forest clearing, Beaver, a short furry animal with a big ego, inaugurates his masterpiece: a giant dam. With the help of two Rats, he blocks the flow of a river. The water level rises and in no time at all, a giant lake is formed. Beaver is very proud of himself but, to his disappointment, there is no one to admire his feat. Elsewhere in the forest, Fox and Hare have been throwing a party with their friends. After the party, Owl returns home and discovers strange streams of water flowing past his tree. He panics and flees into the forest. The following day, Fox and Hare discover that Owl is missing. They set out with their friends to find him, but instead discover the mysterious lake. Where has all the water come from? While they continue to search for Owl, the water continues to rise, threatening a flood. Their quest to save the forest will test their friendship to the limit. For her ninth birthday, Babs receives a piglet as a gift from her grandfather in America. Her parents are not very happy about it. Babs is only allowed to keep him on the condition that Knor attends a puppy training course. But then it turns out that grandpa secretly has other plans for Knor. He enters Knor into the traditional sausage-king competition.

Knor has won three Golden Calves, including for Best Film, and was also the Dutch entry for the Oscars.

Kina and Yuk are about to become parents. As a result of global warming their home is changing around them. When the melting polar ice separates the pair, it becomes a race against time for them to be reunited before their cubs are born.

Despite the distance, they remain determined to find each other once more. They explore new and unknown terrain and make new friends who help them face the dangers that stand in the way of their quest to be together once more.
