Lumière x MaasStitch: Little Women
Ever fancied stitching at the cinema? Now’s your chance! On Wednesday 11 June, Lumière is teaming up with MaasStitch for a cosy night of knitting, crochet and embroidery while Little Women lights up the big screen.
Bring along your knitting, crochet hook or embroidery hoop and join us for a one-of-a-kind screening of Little Women! The lights will stay gently dimmed throughout the film, so you’re free to stitch to your heart’s content – whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just starting out. Knitting, crocheting, embroidering, punching… anything goes, as long as your hands are happily busy. Don’t have your own supplies? No worries! Before the film, you’ll find a nice little stall in the foyer with all the crafting bits and bobs you need – perfect for curious beginners who’d like to join in.

Little Women
Adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s timeless novel, which traces the lives of four young women in Civil War-era Massachusetts, starring Saoirse Ronan, Laura Dern and Timothée Chalamet.
Writer-director Greta Gerwig (LADY BIRD) has crafted an adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s LITTLE WOMEN that draws on both the classic novel and the author’s personal writings. In Gerwig’s take, the beloved story of the March sisters – four young women, each determined to live on her own terms – is both timeless and timely, unfolding as Alcott’s alter ego, Jo, reflects back and forth on her life.
The screening on 11 June is organised in collaboration with MaasStitch. So bring along your knitting, crochet hook or embroidery hoop and join us for a cosy craft evening!
