Filmkrant Day: two exclusive previews in collaboration with de Filmkrant

Lumière and de Filmkrant are joining forces for an exclusive premiere day. The programme features two films that made a strong impression at international film festivals earlier this year, including an introduction by a Filmkrant editor.

Time & Tickets

Before the break, settle in for It Was Just an Accident, Jafar Panahi’s (Offside) darkly comic thriller about a former prisoner who unexpectedly crosses paths with the man who once tortured him. He takes him hostage, but soon begins to question whether he’s got the right man. The film went on to win the Palme d’Or at Cannes.

After the break, we’ll be showing Nouvelle Vague — Richard Linklater’s (Boyhood) stylish, witty homage to the New Wave classic À Bout de Souffle, Jean-Luc Godard’s debut feature.

Please notice that the introductions will be in Dutch.
