On October 31st, Lumière transforms into the place for your ultimate Rocky Horror Picture Show experience. Whether you're a seasoned fan or a curious so-called 'virgin', this Halloween event is one you don’t want to miss.
What can you expect?
If you've attended a Rocky Horror screening before, you know exactly what's coming: dancing, singing, and letting loose like there's no tomorrow.You'll receive a goodie bag with props that let you have the ultimate Rocky Horror experience: with them, you'll basically play along like you're part of the film. Is this your first time? No worries! Our fabulous host, Roy Sabajo, will guide you through everything, so you'll know exactly when to join in on the fun. And yes, your campiest or most glamorous outfit is more than welcome! It’s not mandatory, but it’s a lot of fun—especially if you want a chance to win a prize package.
Prize Packages
Who will go home with the prize for the best costume, best dance, or most enthusiastic audience participation? At the end of the evening, Roy and his lovely assistant will hand out three prize packages. So, put on your most extravagant outfit, show off your best moves, and go wild!
Props
What makes the experience truly complete? A goodie bag full of props, of course! Everyone gets a prop bag, and Roy will ensure you know exactly when to use the props during the film. This way, you won’t just be a spectator, but an active part of the spectacle. There's no need to bring your own props (and definitely no food, lighters, or water pistols—if you know, you know).

Sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a transvestite scientist. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: the ultimate male and the perfect sex symbol: Rocky Horror.
Initial reception of THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW was negative, but it soon became a hit as a midnight movie, when audiences began participating with the film at the Waverly Theater in New York. Audience members talked back to the screen and began dressing as the characters, spawning similar performance groups across the United States. At almost the same time, fans in costume began performing alongside the film. This ‘shadow cast’ mimed the actions on screen above and behind them, while lip-synching their characters’ lines. Still in limited release in 2024, 49 years after it premiere, it is the longest-running theatrical release in film history.
