The Rocky Horror Picture Show: A Farewell to Tim Curry

Don’t dream it, be it. In memory of Tim Curry, we are screening the iconic The Rocky Horror Picture Show twice, with a short introduction beforehand.

As a final tribute to Tim Curry, we are bringing back The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the cult classic in which Curry gave one of the most iconic performances of his career as the unforgettable Dr Frank-N-Furter. Decades after its premiere, the film remains a unique mix of rock ’n’ roll, horror, humour and extravagance.

Before the screening, programmer Kaat Monsieur will give a short introduction, reflecting on the film’s special status and Tim Curry’s contribution to this timeless cult classic.

With its infectious songs, extravagant costumes and iconic script, it is naturally difficult to sit completely still during this film. Audience participation is therefore very much encouraged.

What does audience participation mean?
Talk and sing along with the characters, dance along to the Time Warp, or celebrate an early Halloween and come dressed as your favourite Rocky Horror character.

What we’d rather leave at home
Audience participation can take many forms, but please keep it respectful. Do not throw anything at the screen or other audience members, leave anything behind in the auditorium, or make a mess or cause damage. Rice, playing cards and similar props should therefore stay at home.
