Tati Au Cinéma!
A retrospective dedicated to the French filmmaker and comedian Jacques Tati (1908–1982). From 30 July.

This summer, Lumière is presenting a retrospective dedicated to French filmmaker and comedian Jacques Tati (1908–1982). His early work features a great deal of slapstick and has therefore often been compared to the films of Charlie Chaplin. Later on, Tati’s humour became more wry and satire took the upper hand. Tati consistently questioned technological progress and had a keen eye for the absurdities of modern life.
