Musica Sacra 2026: Ecstasy
From 18 to 20 September 2026, Maastricht hosts the 44th edition of Musica Sacra. For three days, the city becomes the stage for music, film, lectures and rituals centred around the theme Ecstasy.
In collaboration with Musica Sacra, Lumière presents a film programme exploring ecstasy in all its forms – from love and desire to intoxication, surrender and the loss of control. Discover Climax, the audiovisual performance Ekstasis by Ensemble88, Ecstasy and The Red Shoes.
