Memory: When War Enters Childhood + Q&A

Memory is a deeply personal portrait of a childhood shaped by war. Drawing on her own memories, filmmaker Vladlena Sandu explores how childhood experiences continue to affect us and how violence can be passed down from one generation to the next. The film touches on a question that remains painfully relevant today: what does war mean for children, and what is needed to break that cycle?

After the screening, we will be joined for a conversation with director Vladlena Sandu and Yvonne Bloem from Save the Children.
