Global Minds at the Movies: Maspalomas

Movies can entertain us, but they can also inform and inspire us. Film allows you to combine fun with learning. That’s why the Hotel Management School Maastricht, the International Business and Communication Academies, the Theater Academy, and the Conservatory at Zuyd Hogeschool have joined forces with Lumière under the title ‘Global Minds at the Movies’. The goal is to raise awareness among students and the general public and to spark their enthusiasm for other cultures and customs through film.

After the screening, we’ll explore some of the themes raised by the film in an after-talk with Professor Aagje Swinnen (Maastricht University) and Timon Hoomoedt (Zuyd student and Secretary of COC Limburg) (language: English).
