Carlo’s Choice
As part of our anniversary year, Carlo Huellenkremer, a film technician at Lumière since 1989, has selected four of his personal favourite films.
A film goes through many stages before it reaches our screens. One of the most important aspects is the technical side: ingesting files, testing a film, fine-tuning image and sound for each specific auditorium, and so on. At Lumière, film technology is in the capable hands of Carlo Huellenkremer, who has been part of Lumière since 1989. Alongside his keen eye for the technical side of cinema, Carlo is also a passionate lover of the medium. For the anniversary year, he will therefore highlight four of his favourite films in the Carlo’s Choice series. Before each screening, he will briefly speak with Head of Programming Wouter Greven (language: Dutch).
