Team Lumière ready for the future with a new lineup

With the upcoming departure of our Artistic Director/Executive, David Deprez, the team at Lumière Maastricht will see a partial reshaping, bringing together both familiar and new faces:

Head of Programming: Wouter Greven
Wouter Greven, currently responsible for special programming at Lumière, will become Head of Programming starting January 1, 2025. In this new role, he will oversee the entire film program, including the regular programming of premiere titles. The board warmly congratulates him on this new key role within the organization.

The programming team will be further strengthened with a new Specials Programmer, for which the vacancy is now online. You can view the vacancy here.

General Director/Executive: Aerd de Boode
Aerd de Boode, currently serving as Business Director/Executive, will take over David Deprez’s executive duties and become General Director/Executive of Lumière.

Manager of Branding & Development: Anna Nita
Manager of Communication & Marketing: Daphne Stubbe
Since last November, Anna Nita has been serving as Manager of Branding and Development, while Daphne Stubbe has taken on leadership of the marketing team as Manager of Communication and Marketing. They are focused on making the film house even more visible and relevant to stakeholders and audiences, respectively.

With this team configuration, Lumière is operating at full strength and ready for the future, with a significant milestone in 2026: the grand celebration of Lumière's 50th anniversary as Maastricht's premier film house.

David Deprez will remain with Lumière until the end of March 2025 to complete the transition of his responsibilities.
