Public’s Choice results revealed!

For two nights beneath the starry sky, it’s the audience who decides what lights up the screen at the Open Air Film Festival 2026. Voting has now closed, and the results are in.

Taxi Driver — 14 August
Scorsese’s uncompromising classic takes the win with 191 of 465 votes, edging out strong contenders including A Clockwork Orange and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. A raw, disquieting descent into nocturnal New York.

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes — 17 August
With 179 of 412 votes, the verdict is pure Hollywood sparkle. Moulin Rouge! and The Umbrellas of Cherbourg were left behind in favour of this effervescent gem.
