The Addams Family
Darkly comic tale of the eccentric Addams family, who prefer their macabre way of life exactly as it is. Until a mysterious stranger claims to be their long lost Uncle Fester.

Gomez and Morticia Addams are delighted when a man arrives claiming to be Gomez’s long missing brother Fester. The family welcomes him with open arms, but Morticia soon begins to question his identity. Before long, it becomes clear that the supposed Fester is part of a scheme to get his hands on the Addams family fortune. As the Addamses risk losing their home and everything they hold dear, they must uncover the truth about their unexpected guest.
With The Addams Family, Barry Sonnenfeld brought cartoonist Charles Addams’ characters to the big screen in 1991. Anjelica Huston and Raul Julia give Morticia and Gomez an irresistible mix of romance and dark humour, while Christina Ricci’s performance as Wednesday Addams became one of the film’s most memorable highlights. With its extravagant production design, macabre humour and affection for everything that falls outside the ordinary, the film has become a Halloween favourite.
