Tegenwoordig Heet Iedereen Sorry (9+)
A Belgian-Dutch coming-of-age film based on Bart Moeyaert’s book about a headstrong, almost thirteen-year-old girl who feels overlooked within her family. Everything changes when her favourite actress suddenly turns up in their living room.

Bianca’s father sees her as a nuisance and unmanageable, and her mother is preoccupied with Bianca’s younger brother Alan, who has a heart condition. Then, on a sweltering summer’s day, her favourite soap actress, Billie King, suddenly appears in the living room. To Bianca, Billie is more than just a celebrity: she is someone who understands her and tells her that she is special. Meeting Billie helps her to see herself and her family in a different light. Gradually, Bianca discovers how she can find her own place within the family.
Tegenwoordig Heet Iedereen Sorry is an imaginative film about growing up, wanting to be seen, family relationships and the desire to belong.
Please note that this film is in Dutch and English, with Dutch subtitles.
