This action-packed adventure for the whole family follows an eccentric inventor and his two friends, Solan and Ludwig. Their work on all sorts of failed inventions nearly gets them banished from their village. So they set out to prove themselves by taking part in the legendary rally from Paris to the pyramids. Armed with their extraordinary racing car, Il Tempo Gigante, the trio embark on an exciting journey through bustling Paris, the perilous Italian Alps and the scorching Egyptian desert. With their home, their friendship and even their lives at stake, they must prove that friendship and perseverance can overcome any challenge.
