Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair
Quentin Tarantino’s classic revenge epic returns – more than twenty years after the release of the two separate volumes – in a combined version, including scenes that were originally removed at the studio’s request.

A heavily pregnant bride is shot and left for dead in the church by the five colleagues she was secretly trying to say goodbye to: the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad led by the charismatic Bill. Years later, she wakes from her coma and takes her revenge. End of story.
Quentin Tarantino’s fourth film is still regarded as his most thrilling and visually stunning. Uma Thurman, in her leading role as ‘The Bride’, clad in Bruce Lee’s yellow tracksuit, instantly became an iconic film character. And her mission of revenge led to some of the best fight scenes ever.
Kill Bill was released in two parts, with some scenes cut and certain violent moments toned down to make the film more suitable for a wider audience. However, Tarantino’s intention was for it to be one long uncensored film. This definitive version was already completed in 2004 and screened at the Cannes Film Festival, but only became widely available once Tarantino was able to buy back the rights. For fans, it’s a fresh experience; for newcomers, it’s an opportunity to experience this pure revenge story for the first time.
