Fitness influencer Jim Parfait is the king of the Parisian gay scene, until he is infected with the mysterious Heterosis virus. Jim can no longer keep his opinions to himself, his multiple six-packs turn into a beer belly, and he suddenly knows all about football. Unexpected help comes from Jim’s biggest fan, Lucien, a virgin who still lives with his domineering mother. Together, they plunge into the queer chaos of Paris, and start chasing a rogue doctor rumoured to have a cure.
Jim Queen is a colourful, entertaining and not-too-subtle satire that pokes fun at both heteronormativity (the idea that heterosexuality and traditional gender roles are the natural human norm) and the fragmented gay culture, complete with songs from musicals.
