Good Boy
A gripping psychological thriller about a wayward young man who is kidnapped by a couple who decide to ‘re-educate’ him against his will to turn him into a better person.

Nineteen-year-old Tommy lives for drugs, parties and football violence. After a wild night out, he wakes up in the basement of a remote house, only to discover he has been kidnapped. Bound and cut off from the outside world, he finds himself at the mercy of Chris, his wife Kathryn and their young son Jonathan. Convinced that Tommy needs to be reformed, the family subjects him to a series of increasingly disturbing psychological trials.
With Good Boy, director Jan Komasa (Corpus Christi) delivers a tense and unsettling film that constantly blurs the line between care and control, guidance and manipulation. Driven by powerful performances from Stephen Graham, Andrea Riseborough and newcomer Anson Boon, the film evolves into an intense battle between a young man fighting for his freedom and a family determined to reshape him in their own image.
