A gripping children’s film about a twelve-year-old boy who, after a robbery at his grandmother’s home, is forced by the criminals to steal handbags and becomes increasingly entangled in trouble.

Fear of reprisals prevents Alex from talking about what happened and he increasingly finds himself isolated. In the meantime, the heartless attackers carry on with their baiting and blackmail regardless. When the boy is tormented so much that he steals 500 Dutch guilders from a defenceless old blind woman, he realises he has gone too far. He decides to take matters into his own hands and to get even with his tormenters for good.
