De Legendariërs (6+)
A French animated film about the Legendaries. They were once the greatest heroes of their time, but following an accident, they now lead unremarkable lives. A dangerous plan hatched by a sinister wizard brings them back together.
In the past, the Legendaries protected the kingdom of Alysia from danger. This all changed when they accidentally shattered the Stone of Jovénia during a battle with a dark wizard. In an instant, all the kingdom’s inhabitants were transformed into children. The Legendaries were blamed for the disaster and lost the trust of the people. The five heroes went their separate ways, trying to find their own paths as inconspicuously as possible.
The Legendaries are given the chance to regain their heroic status when the wizard Darkhell returns with a new, dangerous plan. He intends to use the power of the Gamera tree to bring the kingdom entirely under his control. And so the five Legendaries are reunited and set out once more to fight for their kingdom.
