Welcome to Lumière LAB, the centre of expertise for film education, catering to primary and secondary school students, vocational education students, and teachers of all education levels. We offer various school screenings and workshops. Together with you, we will create a programme tailored to the participants
Why film education?
At Lumière LAB, we inspire children and young people to discover the magic of film in everyday life. Rather than focusing on the negative aspects of media and technology, we highlight the endless possibilities: an adventure filled with light, imagery, and sound. They learn to view films differently, create their own visual stories, and discover the power of visual language. With these film and media skills, they gain the tools to engage creatively and consciously with media, empowering them to take control of their media use both literally and figuratively.
