Only a very small percentage of Spanish and Spanish-American films get a proper cinema release in the Netherlands . Directors like Pedro Almodóvar (HABLE CON ELLA, MADRES PARALELAS) and Carlos Saura (CRÍA CUERVOS), are household names in the Netherlands, but Spanish and Spanish-American cinema have so much more to offer.
