200 years Karl Marx

On Saturday May 5, 2018 it is exactly 200 years ago that the German philosopher and economist Karl Marx was born. In Germany, but also in the Netherlands, the life and work of the influential German thinker and founder of Marxism is therefore discussed. Lumière presents the films The Nothing Factory and The Young Karl Marx as part of the 200th anniversary of Karl Marx. In addition, René Gabriels gives a lecture about the thinker prior to the film The Young Karl Marx.
