With the film, he pays a tribute to the Wadden Sea, the only Dutch nature reserve with the Unesco World Heritage status.
Smit and his crew portray the Wadden Sea as never before. With the latest film techniques, timelapses, microphotography and drones, the extraordinary nature of the Wadden Sea is captured from all perspectives, both above and below water.
