This sensitive mother-daughter drama by Boudewijn Koole (KAUWBOY, BEYOND SLEEP) follows 33-year-old photographer Roos during a difficult visit to her mother in wintry Norway.

DISAPPEARANCE is set in the remote winter landscape of Norway. Roos visits her mother here yearly, but this time it is different: she is bringing bad news. However, old pain and numerous reproaches keep Roos from sharing anything with her mother. But with the help of her half-brother and an old love, the two women reconcile and Roos is ready to take her next and inevitable step.
