Years later, after the series has been cancelled and their friendship has grown cold, Maddy approaches Owen with a shocking question: what if the series was more than just fiction? What if the boundary between reality and television is less clear-cut than they once believed?
I SAW THE TV GLOW is ‘90s nostalgia at its peak, and explores how technology and art can serve as a lifeline for outsiders. Themes of identity, fandom, and obsession are examined through a queer coming-of-age lens. Featuring a soundtrack (and cameo) from alt-pop icon Phoebe Bridgers and Caroline Polacheck.
