Ida, a young woman, has disappeared without a trace. Three months later her boyfriend Sander agrees to an unusual arrangement: to be locked in an apartment and interrogated by Ida’s father. It soon becomes obvious that even long before her disappearance, the two lovers had chosen a strange and unconventional life: cut off from the world, isolated in the middle of the big city.

Based on a script by screenwriter and director Eskil Vogt (THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD, THE INNOCENTS), director Martin Skovbjerg confidently sculpts an evocative and thought-provoking film instilled with both Hitchcock and Polanski. At its core is the interrogation situation in the unfurnished apartment, where the conversation between Sander and Ida’s father often takes on a therapeutic character. A perfect mix of suspense and drama in a very successful setting.
