The Texas Chain Saw Massacre
A road trip through Texas turns into a nightmare when five friends stumble upon a family with a very particular taste in dinner.

On their way to a family grave, five young people pick up a strange hitchhiker. When they stop at a remote house after their car breaks down, they discover that the family living there has some very unusual customs. Before long, they find themselves locked in a merciless fight for survival.
With The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Tobe Hooper made one of the most influential horror films of all time. Remarkably, the film is far less explicit than its notorious reputation might suggest. Through nerve-shredding sound, raw imagery and an ever-mounting sense of panic, Hooper leaves much of the work to the viewer’s imagination. The film went on to become a blueprint for the slasher genre and made Leatherface one of the most iconic characters in the history of horror cinema.
